Active Faith – 1 Samuel 14:6 – Day #139

Share Article

Jonathan said to the young man who carried his armor, “Come, let us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised. It may be that the Lord will work for us, for nothing can hinder the Lord from saving by many or by few.”
1 Samuel 14:6 ESV

The difference between Jonathan and Saul in this chapter is active faith. Jonathan actively sought God’s presence and direction rather than remaining passive. I want to make sure I always seek God first before taking action in my life. Not as an excuse to be passive but to confidently move forward in faith.
